Trees located on vacant lots that are both 8” and greater and are not listed on the non-protected species list are protected and require mitigation to be removed. -- Demolition permits do not allow for protected trees to be removed. Trees to be retained must have protection fencing placed as far from the trunk as practical prior to any construction activity commencing on the property.
